The Anitque Sound Labs AV-8 is a very inexpensive 10 watt mono-block tube amp. At $99 USD it is the cheapest I have ever seen. At this price one can expect some lower quality parts and in this case it is no different.

The amp comes in two models, the nude model, and the covered model which differs as it has a removable tube cage and a detachable power cord.
